X owner Elon Musk humiliated MSNBC host Joe Scarborough, as well as his parent network NBC, for spreading the “bloodbath” hoax on Sunday morning. In a separate post, Musk stated that America cannot survive another four years of Democrat rule, stating that the country needs a “red wave” in November to survive.

Leftists and their media allies have pounced on an edited, 17-second clip where former President Donald Trump stated that Biden’s re-election would lead to a “bloodbath” for the auto industry. The deceptively edited clip became a leading talking point on Sunday shows, while a number of leading Democrats accused Trump of promoting violence.

In reality, Trump spoke for more than a minute about China’s expansion in the electric car industry and the economic devastation it will cause.

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough was one of the many left-wing pundits who spread the hoax through his X account. “Donald Trump’s America. And he’s proud of it,” Scarborough wrote atop a picture of the January 6 Capitol protests. “Promised another ‘bloodbath’ if he loses again.”

X owner Elon Musk was quick to correct him, writing “January 6 was not a ‘bloodbath’ by any definition and Trump was referring to job losses in the auto industry when he used that word.”

“Your post is extremely misleading,” Musk added. Eventually, Scarborough accepted his humiliation and deleted his post.

Musk also took aim at MSNBC’s parent company NBC for running a misleading headline that read: “Trump says there will be a ‘bloodbath’ if he’s not re-elected in November.”

“This headline is deceptive, as he was referring to the auto industry,” Musk wrote in response, receiving 12-times as many likes as of this report. “Shame on NBC.”

Musk — who has conceded that he voted for Joe Biden in 2020 — has not endorsed a candidate for president in the current election cycle. He recently attended a meeting with former President Trump and a number of other potential donors, though the X and SpaceX owner has stated that he will not be financially backing either candidate as of this time.

He did provide some potential insight into his leanings for 2024 on Sunday morning, however. In a separate X post, Musk stated that America needs a “red wave” in order to survive.

“There is either a red wave this November or America is doomed,” Musk wrote in response to a post about the illegal immigration crisis. “Imagine four more years of this getting worse.”
