As the former president Donald Trump is on the campaing again for the 2024 Presidential election, he talked about “Fake News” media, and president Joe Biden.
“NATO was busted until I came along,” Donald Trump said. “I said, ‘Everybody’s gonna pay.’ They said, ‘Well, if we don’t pay, are you still going to protect us?’ I said, ‘Absolutely not.’ They couldn’t believe the answer.”
And also Trump stated that “one of the presidents of a big country” asked that if USA would protect them from Russia, even though they “don’t pay.”
“No, I would not protect you,” Donald Trump said. “In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want. You got to pay. You got to pay your bills.”
The White House had stated that the comments Trump made were “appalling and unhinged,” while NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg stated, “Any suggestion allies will not defend each other undermines all of our security.”
As Melania Trump was away from the spotlight, she was not present when the Trump family had their Christmas photoshoot taken at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.
Later in time, the family stated that the absence of Melania was because her mother was “very ill.”
On the 9th of January, Amalija lost her life at the age of 78, and Melania Trump had stated from her X account as, “Amalija Knavs was a strong woman who always carried herself with grace, warmth, and dignity. She was entirely devoted to her husband, daughters, grandson, and son-in-law. We will miss her beyond measure and continue to honor and love her legacy.”
“She embodied the best mother, wife, grandmother, mother-in-law – a true beacon of love and luxury in our lives,” Melania Trump said.
“She’s a true inspiration, a role model to me, and to so many,” Melania said in the eulogy for her mother. “Rest in peace, my beloved mummy.”
“It elicits an unusual response from their son Barron, too. Clearly tuned into his father’s mood, he extends a hand in what looks like a mimed or truncated embrace that could suggest a desire to show comfort and/or support,” the body language exper Judi James said.
“This is an unusual display of emotion from Trump, who appears to be mourning Melania’s mother as a personal loss,” she said.
“Donald and Melania have positioned their son between them rather than standing together here, and Trump himself is standing rigidly to attention with his chin raised as though wanting to perform a mark of formal respect for his mother-in-law.”
“The lack of touch here could be deliberate. When someone has to mourn in public, it is common to worry that acts of comfort, support, and affection can make them lose their composure completely, and that might be Melania’s concern that she needs to stay in control of her emotions at this very public moment for the ex-FLOTUS.”
As their relationship is another question, Melania and Donald Trump were not seen in the same car, as they were pictured in different cars, as Melania was not present during Trump’s court battles on the last year.
Judi James talked about their body languages of Melania and Donald Trump at the funeral.
“There is one moment on the steps outside the church when Trump appears to attempt to adopt a strong presidential pose, standing upright with his jaw squared and his head lifted, but otherwise, he looks like a man stricken by grief,” the body language expert said.
“His tight clasp on Melania’s hand looks as though it is for practical as well as emotional support. Walking down the steps he seems to lean heavily on his wife for support so that her shoulders tilt towards him in a hint that he is placing some weight on that clasp.”
After the 2024 re-election campaign was announced, Ivanka Trump stated that she will not be a part of the campaign, as it was reported that Melania was thinking the same thing.
As the Palm Beach Post reported, Melania Trump had arrived earlier than her husband, and she waved as she smiled to the guest, where they attended to the Trumpettes gala at Mar-a-Lago.
“First of all, our great first lady,” Trump said in his speech. Also the former president added that Melania Trump will be in his presidental campaign, and she “wants to make America great again, too.”
“She’s gonna play, and she always did play a big role,” Trump said. “She was somebody that you could rely on.”
“She’s very smart, a very compassionate person. And I would rely on her for advice. I think she’s going to be very active in the sense of being active, at the same time, I don’t want my family to be too active because they did such a great job last time.”
