My husband tried to kick me out with his mistress, but an hour later, he was the one left homeless

“I don’t think I need to remind you that you have no claim to this house; it belongs to my grandfather. You’re gone. Now gather your belongings and head out.” I suppressed the pain of it all by trying to keep my face expressionless. I got to work packing my belongings into my car. My husband’s smirk abruptly disappeared as a black SUV pulled up as I was reaching for the final box.

Logan and I didn’t have a great marriage, and the difficulty of getting pregnant only made things worse. However, he hit his lowest point when he ejected me from the house to bring his mistress in.

Logan and I got married when we were young. Our relationship appeared to be ideal, but as time went on, he began to spend more time away from home. His favorite spot became his gym. He would arrive home later each day than the one before.

The idea of not being able to conceive his child made me believe that I was the cause of his actions. I began to question my abilities and felt like a shadow of the woman I used to be.

I accepted my friend’s invitation to hang out at the neighborhood pub one evening after Logan informed me that he would be staying late at the gym.

The evening was ideal for escaping my everyday schedule and the tension I was experiencing. Before her face changed, my friend and I had a great time and she made me laugh. She thought the man behind us was Logan, so she whispered in my ear to turn around.

He was with another woman when I turned around.

I wasn’t sure if I should confront him at first, but I thought I had nothing to lose.

Logan was relieved rather than alarmed when I walked up to him. It was about time I found out there was another woman, he said, staring me in the eyes. There was no regret in his heart.

My face was made fun of by his mistress.

After spending the night at a friend’s house, I went home in the hopes that Logan would wake up.

However, I found all of my possessions on the front porch in lieu of an apology. Logan and his girlfriend gave me the look of victory. He reminded me that I no longer had the right to be in the house because it belonged to his grandfather. He went into the house and shut the door after himself.

But because I had terrible taste, his mistress remained on the porch and promised to redecorate the house.

I refused to let that woman know that I was defeated, even though I felt like my entire world had fallen apart.

Just then, my name was called by a voice I knew. Logan’s grandfather was there. When he found out that his grandson had thrown me out of the house, he became very angry.

Calling Logan, Logan’s mistress hurried inside the house. His grandfather, a very powerful and affluent man, told him he was a disgrace to the family after he left. He said he would stop funding his lifestyle and sever all connections with him.

He let me take care of the house.
